Civil Engineer

This opportunity will see you provide cost-effective and constructible civil engineering design solutions in a range of land/site development for schools, aged care, municipal and other commercial and industrial projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will support the project management of teams, collaborate with clients but above all, have the chance to positively impact the Victorian landscape. As the ideal candidate you will have: 

  • An engineering degree in civil or another discipline which has transferrable skills & experience
  • Experience in civil engineering preliminary and detailed designs then combining plans, specifications and schedules to produce quality tender package is essential
  • Demonstrated experience (within Australia) in stormwater and subdivisions
  • Experience and knowledge of AustRoads and VicRoads design guideline, AS3500, AS2890 and Stormwater Best Practice (WSU)
  • 3-5 years’ professional experience
  • Good understanding of Project Management including managing budgets and schedules in various stages of the project life cycle and ability to foresee competing priorities
  • Competent CAD skills; 12d model and/or Civil 3D is desirable, a willingness to learn & upskill is a must
  • Experience supporting project teams and have project management aspirations
  • Ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external people
