About the role:

As a Senior Civil Engineer at FMG Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in providing innovative civil engineering design solutions for a wide range of projects, including road infrastructure, land development, commercial and industrial buildings. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes in engineering design and documentation.

Requirements:

• Provide civil engineering design solutions for diverse projects, including road infrastructure, land development, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Lead the design, project management, and client liaison for civil infrastructure projects, such as subdivisions, road design, stormwater upgrades, and streetscape projects.
• Expertise in project management, including monitoring project progress and managing client expectations.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of civil design experience, with a focus on leading design, project management, and client liaison for civil infrastructure projects within Australia.
• Strong familiarity with AustRoads design guidelines, DIT design guidelines, and Stormwater Best Practice (WSUD). Knowledge of SA Water/CWMS is preferable.
• Proficiency in civil modelling packages such as Civil3D and 12d
• Capabilities in stormwater design and modelling, including tools like MUSIC, HECRAS, and DRAINS (desirable).
