The FMG structural team in Victoria has delivered another outstanding project with the recent completion of 167 Kensington Rd. As access to this site was very limited, in order to ensure success for our client the existing building on site was demolished to allow for the new 4 storey office building to be built at the rear. The 2 storey building was then rebuilt once the 4 storey structure was in place.

The new buildings are linked via a bridge and feature:

•  2 storey building (front)  – offices, cafeteria – steel framed structure with timber mezzanine floors and infill brick walls.
•  4 storey office building (rear)  – reinforced concrete framed building, with ground floor carpark, steel framed upper level and roof, large terraces, founded on concrete piles.
