As the sun comes up over the future site of the Victorian Heart Hospital, the FMG Research team is hard at work collecting samples for soils and materials testing and geotechnical assessment.
These tests ensure that our client, Delta Group, can provide accurate compaction control requirements to lead engineers John Holland who will then use this information to carry out the site works in line with the project’s specifications.
Our geotechnical engineering team have also assessed the site and provided reliable reporting and recommendations to ensure the ground conditions on site meet the specifications of the crane lift study – Allowing for the safe set up and operation of a 200 tonne crane on site during the construction of the hospital.
