In the past, high-intensity storms would flood the driveway, resulting in severe erosion of the drainage channel and subsequent loss of access to the dwelling.

KBA Australia engaged FMG to provide an engineered solution that would reduce future access issues and cater for severe weather events, with sufficient capacity for fire truck access as required for bushfire-prone land.

The fully engineered steel and reinforced concrete bridge, designed by FMG, will provide all-weather access, cater for significant overland flows and reduce erosion of the natural flow path. Both the Client and homeowner are very happy with the result!
