FMG Engineering joins forces with Newport Consulting Engineers to enhance our capabilities and expand our National footprint!

FMG welcome Adam Creek as new Chief Executive Officer.

Earlier this year our Managing Director, Matthew Loftes, made the decision to start winding down his full-time leadership role with the company so that he can focus exclusively on mergers and acquisitions. Matthew has been with FMG for 22 years and has led the business through some strategic acquisitions that have expanded our footprint across Australia, broadening our range of services and granting us access to new markets.

To enable Matthew to focus on other business growth opportunities we this week welcome Adam Creek as FMG’s new Chief Executive Officer. Adam has been our State Manager in Victoria since October 2024 and is a very capable and experienced leader. In this video, we explain this development in more detail. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Letter from the Chairman

In my capacity as Chair of FMG Engineering, I would like to share an exciting announcement with you, our valued client. This week, we welcome Adam Creek as FMG’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Adam has been our State Manager in Victoria since October 2024 and will take over from Matthew Loftes who will transition to a business growth role and remain a member of the FMG board. Matthew has been with FMG for 22 years, 11 of those as Managing Director.  Earlier this year he informed us of his intention to transition to a part time role focussed on business growth where he can continue the incredible merger and acquisition work he has been doing, which has seen Newport Consulting Engineers and Enviroscan recently welcomed into the FMG fold. We thank Matthew for his many years of impeccable leadership and look forward to this next chapter with him.

In Adam Creek, we have a very capable and experienced leader and we wish him the very best for his new role. Adam is a third-generation engineer and brings more than 30 years of leadership, engineering, and consulting experience to FMG. He is a former Director of Operations: Transport for global consulting firm Jacobs, CEO of CNC Project Management and General Manager of Kleinfelder in Australia. Other than continuing to service his clients and running the FMG business nationally, Adam will look to grow the business in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland across our Structural, Civil, Forensic, Environmental, Materials Testing, Geotech and Residential disciplines. Having extensive experience in the South Australian market, he will also be very active in FMG’s home State.

Matthew Loftes will support the transition of Adam Creek into his new role and will remain in the business. If you have any questions regarding this announcement, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Your sincerely,
Gary Francis
