The revitalised Salisbury Aquatic Centre has been officially opened! Breathing new life into a community favourite for over half a century, the Centre has undergone a comprehensive revamp.
FMG Engineering’s seasoned aquatic experts worked closely with the project team to deliver sustainable and robust aquatic solutions. Ensuring that the new swimming pools, upgraded operational plant and fresh infrastructure continue to be a valuable community resource.
The state-of-the-art Salisbury Aquatic Centre is now an enticing recreational hub with many exciting features. Swimmers can now enjoy the expansive 8-lane, 50-metre outdoor pool or heated 4-lane indoor pool. Whilst younger aquatic enthusiasts can experience the rush of three junior waterslides or brave the imposing 10-metre-high triple waterslide tower. Splashes and laughter will be in infinite supply at the splash playground, complete with a mammoth tipping bucket. All the facilities are DDA compliant ensuring inclusivity and accessibility throughout the entire Centre. Beyond the aquatic facilities, the Centre also features a health club, new café and a picnic area with an accessible outdoor kiosk.
