What is a NATA accredited Soil Testing Laboratory?

What is a NATA accredited Soil Testing Laboratory; and why does it matter?

FMG Research is the in-house Soil and Materials Testing Laboratory at FMG Engineering. Our expert team has been providing geotechnical and civil construction materials testing for more than 50 years.

What is NATA Accreditation?

NATA Accreditation is a globally recognised, peer-reviewed, Government endorsed accreditation. As a benchmark for technical competence. NATA accreditation covers testing, measurement, calibration, maintenance and inspection policies and procedures, ensuring that the soil testing and associated services delivered by FMG Research are compliant with current National and International standards. FMG Research has been NATA accredited in South Australia since 1965 and in Victoria since 2022.

What does it mean for you?

FMG Research’s NATA accreditation means that our clients can be confident that they are receiving reliable results and the highest quality geotechnical testing services for their projects. The accreditation focuses on quality and improvement, drives innovation, training, technical advancement and risk reduction leading to faster turnarounds, less down-time and cost-effective solutions for our clients.
