The government funded 15.5 km six-lane motorway, marks the first time a concrete road has been constructed on a project of this size in South Australia.
Due to the site’s considerable size and challenging conditions of swamp-land and salt pans, a large volume of geotechnical testing was undertaken to ensure each build zone received the correct fill types. Our team’s specialist soils knowledge led to a significant saving on materials costs.
