These 2 storage dams of 430ML and 680ML capacity respectively, are part of the Gawler Water Reuse Scheme. FMG Engineering worked with the principal consultant Hydroplan, providing geotechnical expertise at the investigation/planning stage and throughout construction (including full Level 1 Supervision). FMG analysed the borelogs from the geotechnical investigation to determine the quantity of high-quality clay available within easy access, to line the dams. Our team also provided embankment stability analysis, leak detection and scour protection advice, detailed drawing reviews and preparation of the technical specification.
