CORD

CORD (Code Oriented Raft Design) is an efficient user-friendly tool for analysis and design of residential footings on reactive clay soils.

Version 8 integrates a graphical user interface and improved compatibility in the Windows environment with the proven reliability of the CORD analysis engine. CORD is based around the Walsh Method of footing design (refer to AS2870, Appendix F1), and has been widely used in design offices throughout Australia since 1987.

• Easy to use, intuitive interface

• Allows users to create their own database of standard wall and roof loads
• Automatic calculation of loads from user-generated database

Modelling

• Built around proven CORD analysis engine
• Incorporates “tree effects” analysis and “tree removal” analysis, in accordance with AS 2870-2011
• Automatic calculation of footing self-weight
• All output data can be exported to Excel for further modelling or analysis
